Are you an experienced professional with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to ensuring the quality and safety of cargo operations? We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Discharge Port Supervisor. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the discharging operations of vessels, conducting quality inspections, and providing essential reports. Scope of Work:

Discharge port supervision

      i.         Discharging supervision including:

1.          Visual inspection of the vessel’s holds after completion of discharging operations;

2.          Witness the discharging operations from the beginning to the end and take readings (incl. Photos of readings) / photos as applicable of the cargo’s condition which will include the existence of foreign materials, large / oversize pieces by size (dimensions) or weight, contamination by hazardous, inflammable, non-ferrous materials, excessive oily residue, excess vs. Background radiation materials or disallowed materials;

3.          Note weather conditions at discharge port before and during discharging;

4.          Describe the logistics process of discharging including noting use of type of grabs, especially use of magnetic grabs / magnet cranes;

5.          Describe, if noticed, any additional cargo sampling / segregation activity by receiver / buyer post discharge and separate to receiver’s / buyer’s discharge inspection

6.          Raise any areas of concern / issues noted in behaviour and practices of receiver / buyer of  or receiver’s / buyer’s appointed (incl. Jointly appointed) surveyor / agent

7.          Provide daily status updates and evidence as applicable

     ii.         perform an independent draft survey on all vessel size classes for , incl. initial, intermediate and final draft survey at the discharge port.

    iii.         Supervision and witnessing of quality inspection: impurity %, oversize %, overweight % / piece, foreign materials, contaminants, etc.; when the receiver / buyer of  performs the quality inspection. Deviations, irregularities and concerns to be raised at the time with the receiver’s / buyer’s appointed surveyor, incl. jointly appointed, the receiver / buyer, as practical and available, and with  and note any such issues in the supervision report.

   iv.         Perform a full quality inspection independently on behalf , including but not limited to and as appropriate for the cargo and the contractual conditions:

1.          Impurity %, oversize %, overweight % / piece;

2.          Foreign, hazardous, non-ferrous, inflammable, materials and contaminants, incl. Any contractually disallowable materials;

3.          Testing for radiation at intervals during discharge;

4.          Visual inspection for arms / ammunition
